Welcome to the 13th Edition of CHIREC Model United Nations!
As we gather again this year, we are reminded of the powerful impact that CHIREC MUN has on the participants’ lives. This conference not only educates but also empowers young minds to address some of today’s most pressing global issues with empathy, intelligence, and creative problem-solving.
Our goal for this edition is to provide an enriching and engaging experience for our delegates. We aim to build skills in public speaking, communication, and critical thinking, all while broadening delegates' knowledge of international affairs, global challenges, and the structure and operations of the United Nations. This experience is designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of the world’s diverse cultures, histories, and political systems.
With 14 dynamic committees simulating some of the world’s most influential organizations, we are confident that CHIREC MUN 2025 will be our most memorable conference yet. We can’t wait to see you there!

It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to CHIREC MUN 2025.
For over a decade, this conference has been a place of learning, challenge, and transformation—not just for its participants, but for those of us who’ve grown with it. As someone whose own MUN journey began here at CHIREC, it’s an honor to return as Secretary-General and help lead a conference that continues to evolve while staying true to its core values. Our Secretariat is committed to delivering a seamless, empowering experience that reflects the very best of what CHIREC MUN has to offer.
Known for its high standards of debate and meaningful engagement, CHIREC MUN has long been a cornerstone of Hyderabad’s MUN circuit. We take pride in being a platform where young leaders sharpen their voices, challenge perspectives, and explore global issues with depth and diplomacy. This legacy is not one we take lightly.
Each committee this year has been curated with care, aiming to reflect not just relevance, but depth and diversity of thought. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that every committee offers space for rigorous debate, intellectual challenge, and meaningful engagement.

Dear Delegates,
It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the 13th edition of CHIREC Model United Nations, happening between the 18th and 20th July, 2025.
Bringing the passionate debate and fierce discourse to our brand new Serilingampally campus for the first time, CHIREC MUN promises the same, if not better, quality of discussion that brings delegates from all over the city each and every year. CHIREC MUN is committed to bringing the world’s most pressing issues in the spotlight, and giving a voice to the young minds that will pave the way to solve problems of both the present and future.
Having started my MUN journey with the CHIREC MUN in 2022, I feel obligated to bring an event that will spark the same curiosities for all of you, as it did for me; in the future perhaps it will be you, writing this letter, to yet another generation of students, yet to get a taste of the debate and discussion of an MUN.
As the Secretary General, I, along with my colleagues, am devoted in pushing the boundaries of what is possible, to bring not only an even better conference than last time, but to bring the best edition yet. The diverse and relevant committees of this edition bring a plethora of agendas that will test the abilities of our delegates, but also give them an enhanced outlook on many global issues. Each committee has been picked after great thought, to provide the best experience to our delegates.
